About Me

Proudly born and raised in Charlotte, NC the sixth of seven siblings of which I and my oldest brother and younger sister are the remaining survivors. My late mother as a teenager worked as a candy striper (nursing aide) at Good  Samaritan Hospital which was the first African American Hospital in the United States where Bank of America Stadium now resides. She would later go on to continue her education and received her nursing degree after having all seven of us and worked as a nurse at Charlotte Memorial Hospital and she would later be employed for Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. As for me I was a truck driver for over 30 years before venturing into insurance. I met my loving wife Taryn in High School in homeroom class as sophomores and we both are members of the same graduating class, she is also a proud Alumni of Winston-Salem State University. I also have one very talented son named Christopher who attended SCAD(Savannah College of Arts and Design) who currently works in sales and is also an amazing voice actor.

As described in my bio about me I am one of the remaining survivors of my siblings. So as of many of you death has had a major impact on my family and in my life. To be honest with you to this day it still has some kind of major effect on me. Losing my mother in 2001, then shortly after losing my older sister and one of my brothers. For the count of us, they were fourth and fifth before me. Then years later my two oldest sisters died four months apart from each other then lastly my father passed. My sisters and my dad all had life insurance but unfortunately my brother did not. So I along with my remaining siblings who were alive at the time put the funds together to cover his funeral. Although we all knew it was going to effect many of us in financially we did it out of love and felt it was our God given responsibility to do so. This was long before how families try to raise money by group funding today to cover a burial service on social media asking friends and others to donate money to help out when in most cases people are hanging on by a thread with their own financial situation, and for the most this method is still not enough to cover funeral expenses, cremations included. In fact only 17% of families raise enough to accomplish their goal. I try to get people to understand that death dodges no one and try to raise awareness of how important it is to have insurance and the response I get most of the time is I don't need it or from others I have PLENTY then finding out later on social media or by circumstance they did not and putting their family in a burdening situation to once again to group fund. I understand how agents and others talk to people trying to sell them something when honestly it's hard to make it on the income they're living on. I know because I have also lived it, but I also understood the importance of having some sort of policy in place just in case something unfortunate happens to me. Final Expense is one of the most affordable insurance product one can have. Also understand there are many different types of Life Insurance especially for those of us amongst the living, that is why it is called LIFE insurance. I have displayed a few examples below that may be beneficial to you depending on your age range and desired coverage. I also added the different types of Health Insurance that I can provide. I would love to have the opportunity to be your agent and explain to you how insurance works and how in some cases it can benefit you better than your bank, and I also challenge you to the task of doing your diligence to educate yourself of the importance of insurance and the benefits it can financially provide. I promise I will try my best to find the most suitable policy for you and your family or friends by referral. Thanks.
